Welcome to the National Database of Accredited Qualifications
The National Database of Accredited Qualifications (NDAQ) contains details of qualifications that are accredited by the regulators of external qualifications in England (Ofqual), Wales (DCELLS) and Northern Ireland (CCEA).
Users can search for details on current and expired accredited qualifications.
Diploma catalogues now available
NDAQ now holds catalogues for all Phase 1 and 2 Diploma lines of learning, available for teaching now, and all Phase 3 lines of learning, available for first teaching from September 2010.
Within each Diploma catalogue, users can view the principal learning and project qualifications available. They can also access a full list of the functional skills and additional and specialist learning (ASL) options for the line of learning and level. Users can also search for ASL qualifications using the filter option on the main search tab.
Centres should use the Diploma catalogues to identify the qualifications and valid combinations of qualifications that can be used to build appropriate Diploma programmes for learners. Centres can also use the Diploma Validator tool to check that programmes of study selected for Diploma students meet the requirements of the Diploma.
Please note that the Phase 3 lines of learning will not show in DAS or the Diploma Validator until June 2010. The Phase 4 lines of learning will not show is DAS or the Diploma Validator until September 2010, however subject to accreditation, Phase 4 lines of learning will be available on NDAQ in July 2010.
