The L2CCA is a vocationally related qualification that provides candidates with an opportunity to study and be assessed for both the practical and theoretical aspects of coaching angling. The knowledge gained will enable candidates to develop an understanding of safe, ethical and effective angling coaching.

The Certificate qualifies candidates to coach the skills and techniques of the sport of angling, as defined in the Practical Syllabus, to adults and children. Those holding the qualification may seek employment as an angling coach and use it as a stepping stone to other vocationally related angling coaching qualifications.

Written Examination
The independent assesment consists of an observed practical assessment of the candidates coaching an angling session to adults or children and oral questions on aspects of their planning, performance, underpinning knowledge, understanding and application.
Candidates must complete all units.
