This qualification provides opportunities for progression into work or to other AMSPAR qualifications, namely the Level 3 Certificate in Medical Terminology for Non-Clinical Professionals, the Level 3 Advanced Diploma for Medical Sectretaries and the Level 5 Diploma in Primary Care Management.

Pass/Merit/Distinction
In order to obtain the AMSPAR Intermediate Diploma in Medical Reception, candidates must:

Gain a pass in the three written examinations of 1 hour’s duration, set and marked by AMSPAR.

Gain a pass in the two AMSPAR nationally set assignments which are internally marked and moderated by AMSPAR
