This Award is appropriate for those whose job role involves:
• Evaluating the internal assessment process
• Monitoring and reviewing internal assessment audit systems
• Carrying out related internal verification or moderation activities


The objectives of this qualification are to enable internal verifiers to:
1 Carry out and evaluate internal assessment whilst contributing to quality assurance systems

ASET complies with the Learning and Development Strategy, approved 2002. Independent assessment is via external verification procedures documented in ‘ASET NVQ Centre Guidance 2005-2006’, which was banked with QCA as part of the agreed Part ‘A’ Submission to run NVQs. Centres will need to ensure robust quality assurance of assessment via internal verification procedures specified by ASET.
