Qualification summary

This qualification will provide candidates with progression from the proposed new Active IQ VRQ Level 3 Certificate in Fitness Management or the Active IQ VRQ Level 3 Certificate in Supervisory Management and will form part of the Active IQ Apprenticeship Framework.

The qualification enables candidates to prove competence in the workplace.

Portfolio of Evidence
This qualification is to be assessed in the workplace through performance of "real" work. Assessors are encouraged to implement assessment planning through a holistic approach utilising naturally occurring evidence wherever possible. Independant assessment is not required for this NVQ, quality of assessment will be assured through Internal Verification systems and through external verification of assessment practice and portfolio sampling.
