Active IQ Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise

Qualification summary

This qualification provides candidates with progression from the Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Fitness Instructing and the Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
This qualification is an approved NVQ on the Apprenrticeship framework and forms an integral component of the active IQ Apprenticeship package. It also provides additional specialist units for those who wish to diversify their skills.

This NVQ is assessed inline with SSC guidance and evidence requirements. Assessors are encouraged to assess the NVQ holistically
The Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise can be achieved in the contexts of:

Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise (Gym);
Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise (Group Exercise);
Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise (Yoga);
Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise (Pilates).

Candidates must successfully complete all units in Group A.

The additional units in Group B do not need to be completed in order to achieve this NVQ.
