FDQ Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing

Qualification summary

This award replaces the Level 1 Certificate in Food Hygiene award.

The award has been devised to meet the needs of food and drink businesses for hygiene training that is sector specific. In order for food and drink businesses to prosper, they will need to keep their hygiene procedures under constant review, making improvements when necessary. Structured and certificated hygiene training is becoming a must. Customers expect it, government regulations and guidelines increasingly specify it. The consumer needs the re-assurance that comes with a fully qualified workforce.
