Derived from standards developed by the lead body for the glass industry, this qualification comprises seven mandatory units covering: preparing and storing glass components; determining the dimensions and quality of glass components; shaping and assembling glass components; maintaining the operation of equipment to meet new requirements; obtaining and providing information on operations; maintaining health and safety in the working environment; contributing to the effectiveness of the organisation.
