This qualification is derived from occupational standards developed for those working with glass and glazing in the automotive industry. Candidates must complete nine units covering health and safety in the working environment, meeting customer requirements, preparations for and work on standard vehicles, glass shaping, installation and repair, and contributing to the effectiveness of the operation. Assessments will be carried out mainly in company/on the job.
