Qualification summary

This qualification is derived from occupational standards developed for those working with glass and glazing in the automotive industry. Candidates must complete a total of ten units. Seven mandatory units cover health and safety, complex glazing operations, fault diagnosis, complex shaping, installation and repair, job completion and customer handover, and organisational effectiveness. Three further units must be selected from a choice of twelve options. Assessments will be carried out mainly in company/on the job.
