Unit summary

The purpose of this unit is to provide learners with the opportunity to gain an understanding of the jobs, training and qualifications for those who wish to work or volunteer in the environmental and land-based sector. The sector consists of a wide range of industries which will require a multitude of skills, many of which are transferable from one industry to another. The needs to review ones own strengths and weaknesses and the personal skills and qualities required are also included in the unit.
