Unit summary

Students will have the opportunity to understand why engineering is important to the social and economic development of the world we live in and the benefits produced by technological advancement. To ensure a balanced view the unit also introduces the concepts of sustainability and accountability and the requirement for the engineering industry to operate in a way which is in harmony with the well being of planet earth.
