Like all animals horses need to eat and drink to stay alive and keep fit and healthy. Horses however have different feeding requirements from other animals and from humans.
This unit will help you learn about how to feed horses and what their feeding needs are. You will learn about the different types of feed, how to prepare the feed for horses and how often horses need to be fed. You will also learn how to give water to a horse and how much it can drink a day.
