Unit summary
This unit is about your responsibility for liaising with external bodies such as HM Customs and Revenue.The first learning outcome requires you to make payments to external bodies. This involves reconciling payroll records with the organisation’s financial reports to ensure that the amounts paid agree with the amounts due, as well as arranging the payments.The second learning outcome is about providing information to authorised agencies. You are required to show that you can communicate via a variety of media and that you do so in a courteous, clear and timely fashion.

To ensure the qualification is always testing the current legislation any future legislation changes impacting on this Unit are to be considered as reflecting on the underpinning knowledge and understanding required to meet thestandards from the date on which the legislation comes into effect.
