Designated Premises Supervisor

Unit summary

The unit has been designed to support the new role of designated premises supervisor, as specified in the Licensing Act 2003, and represents the only provision at level 2 in the NQF. The unit will ensure that the designated premises supervisor has the knowledge needed to understand their role and social responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003, and other relevant legislation, which will help to protect them and their staff from potential prosecution and assist them to promote the licensing objectives within their premises and the community in which those premises are based.
