Assessment in Dance
Unit summary
To explore the principles, practice and purpose of assessment through a study of a range of assessment methods and how they can be effectively applied to dance learning. The guiding principles are that the mode of assessment benefits the learner, and that the learner considers that s/he is judged using methods which are transparent, accurate and fair. The student teacher will be given training in the practical application of assessment tools in order that they become fully proficient in the assessment of dance learning.
