Verbatim Reporting Skills and Strategies
Unit summary
This unit provides learners with technical knowledge and skills in verbatim reporting. These are the skills required of professional Speech to Text Reporters with deaf and/or deafblind people as well as those who provide a verbatim reporting service to others.
A simultaneous verbatim report of the proceedings of meetings, conversations, presentations etc, gives the recipient access to a verbatim text of the spoken communication taking place.
