ABBE Level 4 NVQ in Building Control

Qualification summary

This level 4 qualification is aimed at those working in the area of building control. Candidates must complete 7 mandatory units covering evaluating and analysing applications and designs for compliance; exchanging information to solve problems and make decisions; establishing relationships with customers and providing advice on solutions to complex problems; planning, allocating and evaluating work carried out by teams, individuals and self and facilitating learning; and preparing and presenting evidence of disputes. Candidates must complete 1 optional unit. Up to three additional units may also be selected but these are not a requirement for the NVQ.
