The Certificate in Financial Studies has been developed to encourage individuals to be inspired to meet their lifetime aspirations by teaching them to apply appropriate solution(s) from the wide range available within the evolving financial services marketplace.

The qualification will enable students to make informed and confident decisions regarding their finances and help them become responsible borrowers, sensible savers and have an appreciation of the need for financial planning throughout life.

The Certificate in Financial Studies will stand as a qualification in its own right. For those students wishing to pursue their learning in this area the certificate will provide a route of access into the Diploma in Financial Studies which is recognised with points under the UCAS tarriff and so contributes to entry into HE.
