This specification in business provides candidates with a broad introduction to the business sector and should encourage candidates to develop skills, knowledge and understanding in realistic business contexts, such as discovering the problems and opportunities faced by local businesses and/or organising an enterprise activity.
It provides opportunities for candidates to develop sufficient depth of understanding to inform their choices between further study or training.

• Related qualifications in the National Qualifications Framework: the specification enables candidates to progress to other Applied Business related qualifications.
