City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Diploma for IT Users (e-Quals) - Enhanced

Qualification summary

This qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards. The purpose and aim of the qualification is to provide a qualification which works towards setting standards of competence and knowledge objectives which match the occupational needs of those using IT. In many cases employees require significant training in IT areas and skills ranging from basic to more advanced levels to operate efficiently in a working environment. Employers are keen to attract recruits who are familiar with IT packages, from beginner to advanced.

This demonstrates a clear need for a qualification which recognises the varying levels of competence within using IT; allows candidates to have a tailor made award to reflect their level of skill; and enables progression into other awards on the National Qualifications Framework.
