Qualification summary

The CACHE Level 3 Award in Child Care and Education provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of child development and education necessary for working with children in a variety of job roles and settings.

This qualification is based on the current National Occupational Standards for Children’s Care, Learning and Development at Level 3 and reflects the shift in focus to children’s services.

Upon successful completion of the CACHE Level 3 Award in Child Care and Education learners can progress onto the Certificate or Diploma at Level 3.

The CACHE Level 3 Award in Child Care and Education supports lifelong learning.

Coursework
Learners will have to successfully complete the assessments for units 1 and 2 at E grade or above to achieve the Award.

CACHE carries out annual standards moderation to ensure that the standards of the qualification are maintained.
To achieve the CACHE Level 3 Award in Child Care and Education learners will need to successfully complete the two Group A mandatory units at E grade or above.
