When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.
Students may progress on to the Edexcel Level 2 BTEC Award in Preparing for Enteprise (pilot) (90 Guided Learning Hours). Students may also take the course as a complement to the BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in Business or GCSE in Business or Young Enterprise activities. Students may progress on to Level 3 Business qualifications; set up their own business or work in a business related post.
Candidates will need to achieve 5 credits overall. One credit must come from the mandatory group and the remaining four credits from the optional group.
