Edexcel will ensure equitable and fair delivery of NVQ assessment and verification in Business-Improvement Techniques by carrying out standard external verification and regular risk assessments in each assessment centre.
This qualification provides pathways to the following qualifications:

Level 4 NVQ in Business-Improvement Techniques (Process Improvement);
Level 4 NVQ in Business-Improvement Techniques (Quality Improvement).

Process Improvement Pathway
Candidates must complete the four mandatory units in Group A, the three units in Group B1, one unit from Group B2, plus five units from Group B3 (three of these units can be selected from the Quality Improvement pathway. Note: the same units cannot be selected from both Groups B2 and B3).

Quality Improvement Pathway
Candidates must complete the four mandatory units in Group A, the five units in Group C1, three units from Group C2 (two of these units can be selected from the Process Improvement pathway), plus two units from Group C3) (one of these units can be selected from the Process Improvement pathway).
