Qualification summary
The GCSE Design and Technology qualification enables students to:

Written Examination
Each unit will be assessed independently. However, the teaching of units can be carried out in a holistic way.
The Edexcel GCSE in Design and Technology consists of 2 compulsory units. Unit 1 will be assessed by a task-based controlled assessment. Unit 2 will be assessed by a written examination.
