When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.
These qualifications will sit within the Personal and Social Development element of the following progression pathways on the Foundation Learning Tier:
Progression to a full Level 2 qualification (adults)
Progression to a higher diploma or GCSEs (14-16)
Progression to skilled employment (16-18)
Progression to independent living and/or supported employment.
A. Recognise personal growth and engagement in learning
A2. Recognise development of knowledge and/or skills to operate independently and effectively in life, learning and work
To achieve this qualification, the learner will need to achieve six credits. A minumum of four credits must be at Level 1.
