Qualification summary

Edexcel has the vision to equip young people and adults with the skills to obtain employment and build confidence so that they retain jobs and improve life chances for themselves and their families. At every stage of their lives, people need work-related skills. The units in the WorkSkills Award will build on skills already taught and acquired through schools, colleges and work, recognising them with a formal qualification. The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Award in WorkSkills qualification encompasses workplace skills, vocational skills and skillls that research indicates employers seek in potential employees. The structure of the qualification is such that learners have the opportunity to pick units which suit their needs.
