When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.
From this Level 2 Diploma candidates can progress to our Level 3 Diploma for Legal Secretaries, Level 2 and Level 3 N/SVQs in Business and Administration, Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Legal Information Processing or enter directly into employment as a secretary or administrator in a legal or other business support environment. They can also further their legal knowledge and understanding with our Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Vocational Paralegal Studies and pursue a legal career through the ILEX Professional Qualifications.
Candidates must complete the following:
- Level 2 Legal Word Processing (16 credits)
- Level 2 Working in the Legal Environment (13 credits)
- Level 2 Proof-reading in the Legal Environment (2 credits)
AND a minimum of 6 credits from:
- Level 2 Legal Information Processing (6 credits) OR
- any unit (201-210) from Level 2 Legal Studies
(36 credits in all)
Candidates must complete the following units: Level 2 Legal Word Processing, Level 2 Working in the Legal Environment, Level 2 Proof-reading in the Legal Environment AND a minimum of 6 credits from Level 2 Legal Information Processing or any unit (201-210) from Level 2 Legal Studies (total 37 credits)
