When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.

This qualification will provide for those learners who are new to the sector as well those already working in the sector. The qualifications will provide an opportunity for the formal recognition of knowledge in the form of a nationally recognition qualification and provide opportunities for career progression.

A Grade 2 Concrete Technician who has already achieved the Certificate in On site Concrete Practice will have the appropriate units accredited into the Diploma.
There are 15 mandatory units giving a total of 34 credits.
A minimum of 4 credits must be achieved from the optional units to give an overall minimum credit value of 38.
