Unit summary
Artists, craftspeople or designers need to be able to gather information from a wide range of sources and apply it to prospective employment or exhibition opportunities, commercial briefs, freelance work and so on. They also need to be able to select and use the information to provide the best progression opportunities. This unit aims to develop learners’ skills in being able to source and select from relevant information. They can then apply knowledge gained to the important task of organising their personal progression, through career pathways or study at higher education, and use the research to make informed choices.
