Extending Specialist Techniques
Unit summary
In this unit, learners can develop ideas from study in other units, particularly Unit 55: Exploring Specialist Techniques. Learners have the opportunity to build practical skills through responding to a theme and or set brief. Learners may wish to develop personal ideas through a self-generated brief. Emphasis should be placed on learners developing personal work that employs a consistent level of practical skills.
Learners can use this unit as a vehicle for developing a personal visual language in their chosen field within art and design.
