Unit summary
This unit is about the principles involved in managing health and safety in an agricultural/horticultural business.
Knowledge and understanding of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and the contents of health and safety policy will be required. Candidates will also need to be able to understand the importance of evaluating recommended control measures, monitoring health and safety standards and assessing the relative importance of health and safety risks.
