Exploring Specialist Textile Techniques
Unit summary
In this unit learners will focus on exploration through practical activities. They will work in three main areas of textile design - printed, constructed and embroidered textiles. This unit offers learners the opportunity to explore materials, processes, equipment and techniques that are specifically linked to these three areas. Samples may also demonstrate a combination of techniques. In this way the study will be invaluable in building a store of information on different techniques, based on personal experience.
