Human-scale Working
Unit summary
In this unit learners will learn to recognise ergonomic factors considered in the making of human scale artefacts. They will document this, evaluate it and use it in the development of models for human scale design briefs. They will also evaluate the characteristics of materials in terms of texture, strength, aesthetics and so on. These considerations will be supported through learners’ investigations of different techniques and processes that they may use in working with materials.
