Visual Recording in Art and Design
Unit summary
This unit is about developing learners’ visual recording skills and the use of recording as an exploratory tool in communicating different ideas. Learning to observe and select visual information from the world around them will form a vital part of this unit. Learners will use primary sources to work from direct observation with developing skill and understanding, for the purpose of communicating and expressing creative ideas. They will also explore different ways of recording as a means of communicating specific information.
