When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.
Achievement of this qualification will provide opportunities to progress to further qualifications and training such as:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supervising Hire and Rental Operations (Equipment Plant and Tools).
There is also a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in this occupational area.
As part of lifelong learning Cskills Awards encourage learner progression.
The qualification offers employment opportunities as learners are demonstrating occupational competence by qualification achievement.
D. Confirm occupational competence and/or ‘licence to practice’
D1. Confirm competence in an occupational role to the standards required
Candidates who have achieved NVQ units within the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) with Cskills Awards or with another Awarding Organisation may be considered as exemptions from the equivalent units within the QCF.
The assessment requirements specified by the SSC apply to all the units in this qualification.
To achieve this Qualification candidates must complete both mandatory core units in Group A; plus one pathway from Group B to achieve a minimum total of 45 credits.
In addition candidates may choose to do any one of the Additional units from Group C. Credit from this will be noted on the certificate, but will not count as part of the qualification.
