Qualification summary
This qualification has been derived from standards developed by the lead body for the hospitality and catering industry. Candidates must complete six mandatory units which cover create effective working relationships; contribute to the control of physical resources; develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers; maintain the health, safety and security of the working environment; maintain the drink service; and maintain cellar and drink storage operations. Candidates must also complete a further four units from three optional groups.

Candidates must complete all units from Group A, Mandatory Units, plus
one unit from Group B, Optional Units. A further three units must be
taken from Optional Groups C and D, at least one being selected from
each of these Groups.
