Providing Air Cargo Booking and Airway - Billing Services

Qualification summary

This qualification is aimed at those whose core job role is to co-ordinate the booking of air cargo and provide airway billing services. It comprises nine units in total. Eight mandatory units cover: health and safety; aviation emergency and security procedures; information management; aviation communications and information transfer; leading work to achieve objectives; working relationships; and air cargo bookings. A further unit must be selected from options covering: team and individual performance and development; and customer service delivery systems operation.

Candidates must complete all eight mandatory units in Group A, plus one optional unit from Group B. A total of nine units are required for this NVQ. The additional unit in Group C may also be completed, but this is not a requirement of the NVQ.

    Candidates may complete the following unit but it is not a requirement of the NVQ
