Qualification summary

This qualification is designed for those who work as installers and surveyors of glass supporting frames and units. Candidates are required to complete three mandatory units covering: maintain health and safety in the working environment; contribute to the effectiveness of the organisation; confirm specifications for the installation. Candidates are also required to complete three optional units. Optional units include install window and door units; handle products and materials; assemble glass supporting frames; install panels into glass supporting frames; produce specifications for basic installations; and monitor the quality of an installation.
