Qualification summary

The HABC Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who wish to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV Operative.

This qualification can enable the learner to progress onto the NVQ in Providing Security Services or undertake further learning in other areas of the Private Security Industry such as Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
