The HABC Level 2 Award in Fire Safety is aimed at learners who have some responsibility for fire safety or who undertake the role of a Fire Warden. It provides the knowledge and understanding of hazards and risks and how they can be controlled. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of employers and employees and explains the role of the Fire Warden.

The qualification is effective as a standalone programme of learning for those who have some responsibility for fire safety. Further progression routes could include the L3 Award in Fire Risk Assessment or a range of NVQs in Health and Safety.
