The IoCM Graduate Diploma course is the final stage in the full Commercial Management programme, commencing with the Certificate, proceeding to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma and then culmibating in the Graduate Diploma.
The IoCM has articulation arrangements with a wide range of Universities and institutions in the UK and overseas. Typically, the IoCM Advanced Diploma allows entry to level 3 of an appropriate Honours degree programme and the IoCM Graduate Diploma allows entry to postgraduate study.
Some UK Universities that already have established formal progression agreements include: Sunderland, Southampton Solent, Birmingham City and Lincoln.
IoCM qualifications rely on formal assessment approaches utilising external examinations that are set, moderated, and marked by experienced, independent examiners. Furthermore, an independent External Examiner is appointed for each programme to monitor consistency and equity across the range of subjects, as well as standards of the award.
Refer to documents: "Committee Structures and Responsibilities" and the "External Examiner Code of Practice" on page 17 containing the "External Examiners Annual Report Form"
The Graduate Diploma in Commercial Management consists of four mandatory units, all independently assessed.
