Qualification summary
The ICM Diploma in Credit Management is an established benchmark qualification for the credit industry developed by the largest professional body for credit management in Europe, the Institute of Credit Management (ICM). The Diploma provides essential expertise in credit management covering credit policy, risk assessment and control, collections, departmental management, credit management law, legal proceedings and insolvency. There are flexible ways of studying including evening classes, online study and distance learning with Saturday workshops.

Czech Republic - Malta - Scotland
Holders of qualification are well prepared for senior management roles in credit and are eligible to Graduate Membership of the Institute of Credit Management for which the designatory letters MICM(Grad) are awarded. The Diploma provides access to MBA degrees, to other professional qualifications, e.g. ACCA Accounting qualifications, or it can be converted into a Foundation Degree in Credit Management (on completion of two modules). The Foundation Degree gives access to a top-up year leading to a BA(Hons) in Credit Management. All programmes can be studied while working full-time.

Practical Demonstration / Assignment
Written Examination
Each unit award is assessed by a written 3 hour examination, apart from the Practical Credit Management Project. All examinations are externally set and marked and the project is externally moderated.
Examinations are held twice a year at approximately 40 centres in the UK. The examinations are offered at limited locations overseas.
Unit awards are graded 1 Distinction, 2 Credit, 3 Pass, 4 Fail, 5 Fail, 6 Fail.
There is no overall grading for the qualification
All units are mandatory
The qualification involves a total of 180 guided learning hours with the expectation of an additional 180 hours home study
