When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.

Candidates may progress to qualifications leading to various learning and development qualifications in training, assessment and verification, or to management development qualifications at higher levels.
Candidates who have completed the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring may progress to the ILM Level 7 Diploma for Professional Executive Coaches and Leadership Mentors.
Participants must meet all the mandatory assessment criteria. All mandatory assessment must also be successfully completed.
Participants must also successfully complete the minimum amount of credit specified for the qualification, including the minimum hours for induction and tutorial support, as specified in the Qualification Specifications.
Participants who have successfully completed units in this qualification which are also contained within other qualifications or which have been achieved in isolation as Certificates of Unit Credit will be granted exemptions for these units.
Participants must complete all 3 mandatory units (total credit value of 15) to achieve the qualification.
