When undertaking a qualification that does not appear on the governments' lists as eligible for funding for specific age ranges, users must be aware of legal requirements. Not all qualifications are suitable for all age ranges.
Learners can progress to the level 3 or 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector if they are working towards Associate Teaching and Learning Status (ATLS) or the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector if they are in the full teaching role and working towards the Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS).
The qualification consists of one mandatory unit of 6 credits.
