Unit summary
In this unit candidates will be expected to:
Understand the role played by their occupation within their organisation and industry
Have an informed view of the types of career pathways that are open to them
Know where and how to get information and advice on their industry, occupation, training and career
Understand the breadth of their industry and know the types of representative bodies relevant to their industry and organisation
Describe and work within their industry’s principles and codes of practice
Recognise and be able to form a view on issues of public concern that affect their organisation and industry.
