Coaching Netball
Unit summary
The unit provides candidates with an opportunity to study and be assessed for both the practical and theoretical aspects of delivering netball coaching programmes to a variety of participants in an appropriate environment.
The knowledge gained from this certificate will enable candidates to develop an understanding of safe, ethical and effective netball coaching. The Certificate qualifies candidates to coach the skills and techniques of the sport of netball, as identified in the Practical Syllabus(see qualifcation specification for further detail, attached to this submission), to groups of adults and children. The qualification might be used to generate evidence for a Level 3 S/NVQ in Coaching, Teaching and Instructing and other vocationally related netball coaching qualifications.
