Angling coaching principles and ethics
Unit summary
To provide candidates with knowledge and understanding of the Values Statement for Coaching, Teaching and Instructing, the Angling Coaches’ Code of Conduct and other codes of behaviour relating to angling to underpin their effective and ethical coaching of the sport. This unit also enables candidates to establish how they should deal with accidents and injuries, and the procedures they should follow in the case of emergencies.
