Conduct angling coaching sessions
Unit summary
To guide candidates on how to put the knowledge acquired in Units 1–3 into practice via the delivery of angling coaching sessions to a range of participants. This unit can be studied and assessed in the context of either coarse, sea or game angling. In addition, this unit aims to help candidates to develop an understanding of how to help participants to develop their skills and techniques. To complete the coaching process, candidates will learn the principles of evaluation and how effective evaluation can contribute to the further development of their coaching practice through structured self-assessment and action planning.
