Unit summary
The aim of this unit is to provide candidates the opportunity to promote their knowledge and understanding of:
the role played by their occupation within their organisation and industry
the types of career pathways that are open to them
how to get information and advice on their industry, occupation, training and career
the structure of the industry in which they work
the types of representative bodies associated with the industry
the industry’s principles and codes of practice
issues of public concern that affect their organisation and industry.
